Etisalat Egypt

Ranked by The Middle East magazine as the 6th largest company in the region in terms of capitalization and revenues, Etisalat is also 140th in the Financial Times Top 500 Corporations in the world in terms of market capitalization. Etisalat operates in 16 countries with a combined population of over 446 million, some among which are UAE Pakistan Saudi Arabia Sudan and Egypt.

Mobilis Algeria

Mobilis is a subsidiary of Algeria Telecom and was the first mobile operator in Algeria. It launched its services in February 1999 and subsequently launched an experimental UMTS network in December 2004. Currently Mobilis has close to 9.5 million subscribers.

Tunisie Telecom Tunis

Tunisie Telecom is the incumbent telecommunication network and service provider in Tunisia. The operator offers a full range of fixed, mobile and satellite telephony services. It also provides ADSL services to its residential and business subscribers through five ISPs in Tunisia: GlobalNet, HexaByte, Planet, TopNet and Tunet. In May 2006, Tecom-Dubai Investment Group acquired 35 per cent stake in Tunisie Telecom.

Djezzy Algeria

Djezzy, launched in February 2002, a branch of the Egypt-based Orascom Telecom, is Algeria's principal mobile network operator. Djezzy has grown to become the market leader in terms of both subscriber numbers as well as the quality of telecommunications services provided. Djezzy serves over 13.5 million subscribers on its network and has a 62.7% market share (as of March 2008).
